The beauty of this Puffed sleeve dress is in the sleeve and in the extra length of the skirt. So my tutorial today will concentrate on the 2 aspects as pointed out.
Fabric used – scuba
Yards needed – 5 yards for someone like me.
Lining- based on choice
Trimmings -necessary

Straight fitted dress with crinoline detailed back
It’s lecture time again.👩🎓👗This time we would be looking at this lovely straight fitted dress with crinoline detailed back.
Style Analysis
It was made with 3.5 yards of pink lace and 4.5 yards of bridal satin. The crinoline was the 2-inch version.
We cut the bodice as a tube with the bridal satin and full bodice with the net part of the lace.
For the skirt, we cut it as straight pencil and attached the back details to it.
To create the back details we cut 3 semi-circles and attached all three together. The same thing was done with the lining part which was also bridal satin. We then attached the crinoline to the middle part of the design. Lastly, we placed it carefully on the waist making sure the zip was not disturbed.
Style Adaptation
You know that feeling that your next dress is the best dress. Then once you wear it out one time it becomes an old dress? Well here is something you can do to such dresses with style adaptation.
You can change the way the dress is used. Like turning it into a blouse and simply use a skirt with the blouse. The remaining fabric can then be used to sew something new.😁
Many of us never use the same dress to another big event after we have worn it to a previous one anyway. So why not make use of the fabric in a different way?

Female ‘Agbada’ inspired look
This female ‘agbada’ inspired look is actually a fabulous design. I recently made it on request for a client. Now as simple as it is to make I can say clearly that it can be made to be as expensive as you desire it to be when you design the front block or front and back block.
Just imagine you embellish it with stones worth over 500k or more, as far as your account can go. Then you are talking about a really fashionable design. It is beyond just the cuts all the way to the additions you add to increase the total value of the outfit 😉

Yours truly, Valisimo fashions is attending the Accra Fashion week. Accra Fashion Week, for the first time ever, is about to host the 2nd season edition in 2018 as never done before in Africa.
Earlier in the year, we witnessed a host of designers showcase for the Chilly Rainy edition. And this year we are set to experience the 2018 Summer Harmattan edition from 3rd to 7th October 2018 at the CFAO Car Showroom in Airport Accra.

It was glitz and glamour with Students of Valisimo fashions at NSFDW. You too can become a talented fashion designer when you start your career with Valisimo Fashion School.
REGISTRATION
Preceding the registration, the applying candidates who are of age and eligible must ensure to be present for a personal interview to be conducted by the acceptance director and/or operations manager, this is to ensure the schools admission policies are clearly relayed to the applicant whose interest and expectations are also taken into cognizance before completing the application for Consideration and registration form. Trainees whose Application are approved will be notified immediately or within 48 working hours in case of the crash and special programs. The Director will then complete the Acceptance Agreement that must be accompanied by the required bank teller indicating a non-refundable Attendance Fee paid by the trainee.
PAYMENTS
The school requires full attendance fees to be paid before commencement of training or a minimum of 70% in cases of installment wherein the student is granted only the grace of 15 or 30 days to remit the balance of 30% as it applies to varying circumstances. Only legal bank tellers are accepted as such payments for required program specifications will not be accepted in cash or via cheques. Transfers are only validated after verification as such applicants are required to come with printed bank notification slips indicating proof of payments.
WORK SCHEDULE/ATTENDANCE
Regular full-time classes will run on weekdays between 11am and 3pm daily, theory classes will hold on Mondays along with practicals and from Tuesday to Friday. Part-time and special programs will run only on the allotted days scheduled for classes as arranged by the admission officer. Students are required to attend all classes as arranged to suit various program specifications. The school will not be held liable for students absence from school
ACCOMMODATION
The school has made adequate provisions for applicants traveling from far to study while being accommodated in the school boarding facility at a subsidized rate.
However, candidates who wish to take this advantage must apply and satisfy the school’s requirement s and completely fill the school hostel request form ensuring to cooperate with the person in charge. Note that students will have to be duly checked in and out of the facility at resumption and graduation day.
WORKSHOP AND PHOTO SESSIONS
Asides the regular curriculum, the school has made provisions for additional tutorials and practical to cover related areas in your course of study ranging from leadership to skill development, entrepreneurship classes and lots more. Applicants are required to participate in these extra classes and pay all dues necessary to cover these provisions as they all sum up to the students total GPA for assessment.
PRACTICALS AND EXAMINATION
Practical and examinations are mandatory requirements for students in partial fulfillment of their obligation towards the school as such it is a pre-requisite for promotion and graduation, the school, therefore, reserves the right to suspend students classes should they fail to meet the required expectation in various sessions. All assignment including class assessment and attendants record constitute a student total GPA
WORK SCHEDULE AND ATTENDANCE
Regular full-time classes will run on weekdays from 10:00am – 3pm for fashion school and 11:00am – 3pm for makeup.
Part-time classes will hold for fashion school only on Saturdays 10:00am – 5pm.

How the top was made
The top was made with 1.5 yards of white printed silk/orgadi fabric. In fact, it has no side seam its only sown at the neck with bias and hemmed on all the 4 side. The neckline was cut out in such a way as the made the down part uneven.
I felt so good wearing this that I had to rock it to Simis song. Check me out in the video below grooving to the music. I love what I do trust me😁
