THE FABRIC PURCHASE
Thing dress makes me look and feel like a princess 👸.Green is one of my favourite colours.I remember just wishing I could do something with a very bright green, then sometime last month I went fabric shopping for something else, low and behold I saw the exact green shade in softnet fabric i was dreaming of. I was so excited to getting it. I got about 6yards of the green net and 2 yards of the black and white stripes fabric to contract the colours. Read More

Wrapped Pieced Skirt
The last time we talked about the different ways we can cut our pieces skirts: http://valisimofashions.com/secret-behind-pieces-skirts/ but today we want to take it a step further by looking at how we can cut our wrapped pieces skirt…
The inspiration for my red dress came from this white one. I fell in love with the white dress as soon as I saw it. But I also knew I had to make mine with some differences so it doesn’t seem as if I borrowed the dress from her😆 Coping a style From A-Z is a No-No for me😐 especially if I am to wear it. I must add a twist to mine.
So I started by using a red coloured creep fabric.I also made provision of transparent net for the sleeve… that was easy though because I never liked wearing sleeveless outfits anyway. Lastly I changed the neck line of my design to enable me have detailed embellishments. Read More
Hummmmmm! This dress was one hot one o. The style is so simple yet elegant. When I dressed up for the AMVC event I didn’t think much of it until I heard people commenting on the embellishments around the neck area as well as the way the dress looked on me. 😉
Talking of the embellishments. When the dress was made, it was so plain and too simple so I started thinking of what to add to it considering the fact that I was so busy during the week to go shopping for trimmings or any accessories to design the dress. Read More

Long post alert… but if you manage to read to the end you shouldn’t have problems with trousers anymore.
Making trousers is one of the simplest projects I love doing, especially where the flyer is not needed. In the picture above, we see that the opening for the zip on this trouser is at the back, this means that this type of trousers is easier to make.
